Coos Bay, September 23, 2019: Bay Area Hospital is hosting a free Head and Neck Cancer Screening on Saturday, October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the hospital’s first floor lobby. The public is invited to attend this free screening where Bay Area Hospital staff, in conjunction with volunteer community healthcare providers will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on how to prevent head and neck cancers.
Head and neck cancers can affect your ability to speak, eat, drink, and swallow; however, if they are found early, they can be successfully treated. Screening is quick, easy, and painless.
