In lieu of birthday presents, an 8 year old girl in Coos County has been requesting donations for the Kids’ HOPE Center. Morgan, the birthday girl, has been quite successful, collecting dozens of coloring books, boxes of crayons, and other supplies for the children who use the services at the Kids’ HOPE Center.
Morgan and her mother will be delivering the donations to the Kids’ HOPE Center Tuesday, July 11 at 3:00 p.m. The media is invited to attend. The Kids’ HOPE Center is located at 1925 Thompson Rd. in Coos Bay. For more information contact Barbara Bauder at (541) 269-8543 or send her an email at Barbara.firstname.lastname@example.org
About the Kids’ HOPE Center: The Kids’ HOPE Center program supports families and child abuse victims through the provision of an all-inclusive Center where forensic child interview and medical examinations take place, and guardians and victims are offered support navigating through the challenging legal prosecution system. Intervention and advocacy services are provided to families through referrals and follow-ups with partnering community agencies, initiated by HOPE Center staff.
