We offer a range of educational opportunities to help our community feel supported and empowered in their health journeys.

Maternity and Baby Wellness

Our experienced nurses work closely with you and your healthcare provider to give you support throughout your pregnancy.

  • Breastfeeding Class – Mar 19, Apr 16, May 21, Jun 18. Wednesdays, 6- 8 p.m., Myrtle room at the hospital.
  • One-Day Labor Class – Mar 16, Apr 13, May 18, Jun 22. Sundays, 2-6 pm, Myrtle room at hospital. For patients over 35 weeks gestation or later on the class date.
  • Infant Safety/CPR/Newborn Care Class – Mar 17, Apr 21, May 19, Jun 16. Mondays 6 to 8 p.m., Myrtle room at the hospital.

Diabetes Self-Management

Bay Area Hospital offers a diabetes self-management program designed to help you understand and manage your diabetes. This program consists of four classes and one individual appointment with a registered dietitian. To enroll, you must have a referral from a physician/ healthcare provider.
