Inpatient Pharmacy

Our inpatient pharmacy supports hospital patients, surgical services, and Emergency Department care with safe, timely medication services. The team also provides chemotherapy and infusion support through the Bay Area Cancer Center and the Bay Area Hospital Infusion Center.

Pharmacists are available to consult with providers, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff when medication guidance is needed. A pharmacist is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to support patients and hospital staff.

Specialty Pharmacy Services

Make more time for what you love. Bay Area Hospital Specialty Pharmacy helps patients with complex or chronic conditions access specialty medications close to home in Coos Bay. We help simplify medication management and prior insurance authorizations.

Our team reviews prescriptions, assists with prior authorizations, and explains safe use, side effects, refills, and next steps. Patients can pick up prescriptions after appointments or discharge, access copay assistance, and rely on our team to coordinate with their providers.
