Patrick Banks, MBA, CPA - Bay Area Hospital

Patrick Banks, MBA, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer of Bay Area Hospital. He has 16 years of experience in healthcare, including at a global, mid-market public accounting firm as well as roles in hospital accounting, revenue cycle, and administration. In addition to core finance, his experience includes hospital turnarounds, revenue cycle optimization, strategic planning, and service line development.

Patrick takes a people first, process-oriented approach to management and enjoys working with hospital and community leaders to ensure effort and resources are aligned to meet organizational priorities. Prior to joining Bay Area Hospital, Patrick worked as Regional CFO for a hospital management firm serving independent rural hospitals across the Western United States.

Patrick is a Certified Public Accountant. He has a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Michigan.
