Renee Nelson - Bay Area Hospital

Renee Nelson is a Board Member at Large for Bay Area Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Arizona State University and later completed a Master’s in Business Administration degree. Renee and her husband returned to their hometown of Coos Bay in 1991 where she assisted students in the business office at Southwestern Oregon Community College. She has worked for a financial institution since 1997 and has served as the Chief Financial Officer since 2003. As a board member, Renee looks forward to serving her community by sharing her financial experience in asset liability management, budget, and strategic planning.
