Rehabilitation
Services

Maintaining your health is an ongoing journey, not just an occasional task. Bay Area Hospital’s In-patient Rehabilitation center is committed to providing exceptional care.

Bay Area Hospital Rehabilitation Center

We specialize in providing services to patients with a wide range of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities, including but not limited to mobility issues, cognitive impairments, and speech and language disorders. These conditions may arise from injury, disease, or other causes.

Patients who require continued therapy outside the hospital are referred for continued support and rehabilitation with our trusted community partners.

Services

Physical and Occupational Therapy

Physical and occupational therapy focuses on improving strength, endurance, flexibility, motor control, and stability to support a range of normal functional activities. These activities may include walking, climbing stairs, getting in and out of bed, and performing daily tasks such as dressing and eating. Our goal is to enhance mobility while fostering safety and independence, enabling patients to regain their ability to perform these activities with ease.

Speech and Language Therapy

Speech and language therapy is another vital service we offer. It primarily focuses on communication skills and swallowing dysfunction. Our goal is to help patients understand their swallowing limitations better and provide them with the necessary education to live with these limitations. We work hand in hand with our community partners, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive approach to our patients’ care and rehabilitation needs.
