From health education programs in local schools to workplace wellness initiatives and neighborhood health fairs, we’re actively involved in promoting wellness outside the doctor’s office.

We recognize that much of what influences our health occurs in our schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods, and we share a common goal of improving community health and reducing the cost of care.

Community Health Needs Assessment

The Bay Area Hospital Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is a collaborative effort to pinpoint the significant health needs of our community. This report draws on a variety of data sources, including Census and demographics, public health indicators, healthcare reports, community health plans, and county health statistics. Interviews with key community members, both within and external to the Bay Area Hospital District, are also crucial in shaping this assessment. Conducted at least every three years, this assessment guides our efforts in prioritizing community health initiatives.
