COOS BAY – Bay Area Hospital is committed to the mission of “Improving the Health of Our Community Every Day.” To further that effort, BAH Community Foundation grants are awarded annually to local non-profit organizations that share that desire to improve the overall health and well-being of our community.

We know that we are making a difference, because we can see the difference that is being made by those organizations who have been awarded grant funds in the past.

A few of those organizations include 2017 recipients like the Southwestern Oregon Community College for the Health and Science Building, Bay Area Rotary Club, for its Shots for Tots program, Coos County Friends of Public Health, SMART, and the Drug Disposal Coalition.

Do you belong to, or know of, an organization that is committed to improving our community’s health and well-being? If so, we invite you to go to the Bay Area Hospital website where for the first time this year you can submit your application online by the March 1 deadline.  (Note: only one application per organization will be accepted.)

Again, these funds are not distributed solely to healthcare organizations. Any non-profit organization can be awarded a grant, as long as the funds go to contribute to the health and overall well-being of our community.
