The Kids’ HOPE Center, Coos County’s Child Abuse Intervention Center, has operated under Bay Area Hospital since 2013. The Center has a mission to reduce child abuse through community awareness, intervention, and to provide supports for healing and victim justice. The Center relies on grants, in-kind donations, and monetary contributions to operate and serve the county’s most vulnerable children.

Children and families who come to the Kids’ HOPE Center receive on-site victim advocacy and medical exams, forensic interviews, referrals to mental health agencies and other community health programs related to their needs, and access to emergency services if needed. In 2019 the Kids’ HOPE Center provided services and supports to 376 children and their families. In 2020 the Center anticipates being able to provide even more services to children and families in our community needing it most.
If you have questions, need additional information, or if you would like to purchase a ticket or table please contact the Kids’ HOPE Center at (541) 266- 8806.
